He was clear that the primary issue would be the lack of heavy armour or weaponry (suit-level at best). They accept (in the past) and set out to do the job.Run:Team meets the very unprofessional J and accepts the job, proceeding to the missile crash point.They discover it within a Puyallup shantytown, having killed three people and injured three more. Team speaks to the locals, trading medical ability and equipment (treating the injured) to assuage hostility and acquire information, making friends with a local community figure.Team follows the trail from this information to a local bazaar, locating an electronics merchant who had found the item and sold it to a specific buyer. Team sees that he appears scared to talk, and notices a man watching him who soon leaves the location. Team scopes this guy and subsequently follows him.This thread leads them to a temporary base for a tech-scavenger, who specializes in finding valuable items and selling them on to national or corporate representatives. Team attempts some negotiation, which fails and leads to a fight. Team dispatches the man and his entourage, nonlethally, and collected the item.Team leaves quickly and returns the item to the J.Aftermath:The guidance module is returned to Specialist Horner, who will cover up his failure and continue progressing the missile to mass production and usage.The runners got paid.GM Note: This was a narrative-focused run, and I was trying something a little different.
