Can someone explain where I went wrong with this

So I grabbed 3 buddies and started the raid on Golem island for the first time.The cutscene starts, the woman explains about the lava wall, and then the cutscene ends and we spawn on a cliff by a bridge. The base that is the only way to get from Sector 1 to Sector 2. We kill all the enemies and destroy the computer panels. Nothing happens, we can't cross the bridge.So we decide to fan out and complete the purple 'side mission' objectives, we reason that maybe we have to complete them all before we proceed. But when it comes to destroy the data server at the satellite dish, there is no objective there. There are indestructible servers, but nothing to complete the "destroy data server" objective. We shot every server, scouted around on drones, walked around aimlessly for one hour searching for the thing the game wants us to blow up, but found nothing.None of us have any active missions listed next to our names, it just says "exploring".Did our game get bugged, or did we miss something?
