With all the conspiracy going on about injecting microchips, tracking phones, drones, etc., many people are concerned about their government "spying" on them. However, in civilized and prosperous countries, information collected through these methods could actually help contribute to the benefit of society. Some examples could include more accurate population counts, a stronger criminal justice system, demographic research and development, and, especially now, infectious disease control. I have trouble believing that surveillance information collected through a proper, elected government would be used with any negative intent, so why should it be viewed as something so dangerous? The only issue I can think of is cybersecurity and breaches, but at the rate technology is advancing, I am sure that, with effort, that can be more than adequately addressed. via /r/unpopularopinion https://ift.tt/3pohY06
